 Road base is a dense, graded blend of crushed concrete used to create a strong, stable foundation for driveways, parking lots, and roadways. Its mix of fine particles and larger stones compacts tightly, forming a durable surface that supports heavy loads and prevents shifting or rutting over time. 

 Asphalt millings, also known as recycled asphalt, are a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to new asphalt or gravel. Made from reclaimed pavement that’s been crushed and screened, asphalt millings compact tightly to create a smooth, durable surface that resists washouts and potholes. 

 Rock 57 is a clean, angular ¾-inch crushed stone commonly used for driveways, drainage systems, and concrete base preparation. Its uniform size and rough texture allow the stones to lock together, creating a stable yet permeable surface that supports heavy loads while promoting proper water runoff. 

 Ballast rock is a coarse, angular stone typically ranging from 1" to 2½" in size, used to stabilize heavy loads and provide superior drainage. Its larger, irregular stones interlock tightly, creating a durable surface that resists shifting under pressure. 

 Screening fines, also known as paver base or stone screenings, are a finely crushed blend of limestone or granite used to create a solid, level foundation beneath pavers, driveways, walkways, and patios. The small, angular particles compact tightly to form a smooth, stable surface that prevents shifting and settling over time. 

 Fill dirt is natural earth material—typically composed of subsoil, clay, and minimal organic matter—used to raise, level, or stabilize land. It’s the base material contractors and homeowners use before adding topsoil, concrete, or building foundations. Because it compacts tightly, fill dirt prevents settling and provides a strong, stable surface for construction and landscaping.
